I was born and bred in the Midlands and have returned to work as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in Warwickshire after extensive training in the UK and abroad.
I graduated from Bristol Medical School in 1998 having also spent time studying in Strasbourg at the University of Louis Pasteur and at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town. I completed my basic surgical training at Bristol Royal Infirmary after six months working at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney, Australia. I worked with the Exeter Hip Team as part of my higher surgical training. I was awarded the Cutner Travelling Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2008 to undertake a fellowship in complex hip and knee surgery in Canada before returning to Warwick.
My main interests are in the treatment of complex hip and knee problems. I am an expert in minimally invasive surgery and in treating active patients who wish to recover quickly from surgery.
